Kenneth B Mathis MD

Dr. Ken Mathis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).

Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Mathis specializes in Total Joint Reconstruction.

Dr. Mathis received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He attended Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center Southwest in Dallas Texas. Following his internship at The University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri and residency at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana, Dr. Mathis went on to complete a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Total Joint Arthroplasty at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Mathis is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Texas Orthopedic Association, and the Houston Orthopedic Society.
