Lisa Sammaritano MD

Dr. Lisa Sammaritano is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology at Hospital for Special Surgery – Weill Cornell Medicine. After completing her undergraduate degree at the University

of Pennsylvania, Dr. Sammaritano received her M.D. at Cornell University Medical College and completed internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at the Weill-Cornell programs of New York Presbyterian Hospital and Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Sammaritano’s clinical research interests focus on pregnancy and reproductive health in rheumatology disorders. She is presently leading the development of the American College of Rheumatology’s Reproductive Health in Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Diseases Guideline.
