Ronald van Vollenhoven MD

Professor Ronald van Vollenhoven is head of the Unit for Clinical Therapy Research at the Karolinska Institute and a senior rheumatology attending at the Karolinska University Hospital. His research interests focus on novel therapies and therapeutic strategies for rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory arthritides and for SLE. He has been the principal investigator in many large international trials and has published over 200 articles.
