Dr. Ken Kalunian MD

Dr. Kalunian is a Professor in the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. His research centers around outcomes, clinical epidemiology, clinical trial design and the conduct of clinical trials in systemic lupus erythematosus and osteoarthritis. Dr. Kalunian completed fellowships at the Lutheran General Hospital for arthroscopic surgery and the University of California, Los Angeles for rheumatology. He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed papers and serves on several committees, including the Systemic Lupus International Collaborating Centers Committee, the Collective Data Analysis Initiative for the Lupus Foundation of America, serving as the Executive Chair and chairs the Steering Committee of LuCIN.
